 Under Bonnet

• *Change engine oil and filter (petrol and diesel) and reset Engine Oil Life System (EOLS) (diesel).
  *Not required if replaced within the past 5,000km (unless requested by the customer)
• Check fluid levels: brake, power steering, clutch and washer.  Check coolant % with tester and check level (pressure test if level low).
• Drive belts – inspect, adjust or replace if necessary.
• Check for signs of deterioration and/or leaks from the engine, fluid reservoirs, air ducts, all hoses and clamps.
• Check battery terminals for corrosion, (clean as required).  Check battery terminals and hold down clamp for security.
• Inspect air filter element.
• Diesel filter: drain water every year (regardless of kms).
   

Under Vehicle

• Check engine and transmission for leaks.
• Inspect tyres for irregular wear or damage.  Check air pressure and for wheel damage.
• Check wheel nut torque.
• Check all brake, fuel lines and hoses for condition, attachment and routing.
• Inspect front and rear suspension and steering for damaged, loose or missing parts, wear or lack of lubrication.  Inspect power steering lines and hoses for condition, attachment, routing and leaks. Check condition of all rubber boots and covers.
• Inspect exhaust and adjacent under body for damaged, missing or misaligned parts, open seams, holes or loose connections.  Run the vehicle and check for exhaust leaks.
• Inspect all constant velocity joints for damage or torn boots.
   

Vehicle Interior and Boot

• Check park brake operation.
• Seat belt inspection. Check webbing condition, buckle operation and retractor mechanism operation.
   

Vehicle Exterior

• Check operation of all exterior lights.
• Inspect wiper blades for wear or cracking.
• Check transmitter range of remote control.
• Check bonnet catch, hinges and all lock cylinders.
   

Road Testing

• Braking, steering, engine response and transmission operation.
• Check operation of cruise control.
• Check park pawl operation.
• Check air-conditioning performance.
• Check neutral start switch.
• Check for any outstanding safety recalls.
